I can hardly imagine a garden without Hydrangeas. Although for many, the attraction is from childhood memories of a grandparents garden, I find myself intrigued by the many forms and the colors.

I have a dear friend, CM, whom I have known for a very long time. We met through our Newfoundlands dogs, worked in rescue together, and shared a mutual love of this incredible breed of dog.

Happy Sunday to you all. College graduation is tomorrow at UVA, and unfortunately will have to be moved inside. We have had intense thunderstorms during the days and days of rain. The James River is near cresting at flood stage.
