I have been immersed in various projects and needed to stay with them so I wasn’t able to write for a bit, but I am glad to be back. For today?  Just a fun post

Her name is Whitley and she came to me 3 years ago today. Before her arrival I had been in contact with LS in Charlotte, NC about a shaggy that was available for adoption, but first let me back up a bit.

I have a dear friend, CM, whom I have known for a very long time. We met through our Newfoundlands dogs, worked in rescue together, and shared a mutual love of this incredible breed of dog.

Today I had planned on a DIY project, but this Easter weekend I drove to Richmond for the Richmond Afghan Hound Specialty Show where there were two judges on Saturday, one from Scotland, and the other a friend of more than 25 years, K.C.
