Two Swans Farm

Two Swans Farm

European flair and attention to detail defines this world class luxury  horse farm. Wellington, Florida in Palm Beach County is a well known equestrian destination for the 12 week winter horse show circuit featuring National and International competitors in Hunter-Jumpers and Dressage. This is horse country, and Two Swans Farm defines the term “spare no expense”. The farm is owned by Carol Cohen, widow of Alan Cohen, former co-owner of the Boston Celtics, the New Jersey Nets, and who was also Chairman and CEO of the Madison Square Garden Corporation. Carol and her daughter ride dressage, and this was a premier destination for dressage clinics. Olympian Steffen Peters (who rode the magnificent Ravel) were regulars at the farm. Mrs. Cohen, who has lived at the farm full time for several years, decided to downsize and sell the farm, and sell it did, in March, to a business maganate from Ecuador who paid a cool $6.88 million. The new owners are active in jumping but may include dressage to their equine interests.

Set on 10 acres, the farm includes 12 stall courtyard stables, covered riding arena. The main living quarters includes a master suite and guest suite, each with a full bath. The floors are brazilian cherry and tile. There is also a two bedroom groom’s apartment with two baths. The property is completely fenced, and there are two ponds with both black and white swans adorning them. I have put the house photos first, then the equine facilities. To keep a facility like this pristine requires constant dedication and work.  I am impressed at how spotless and gorgeous the barn area is. The wood ceilings are dust free and shiny, almost mirror like, no easy feat when the horses create dust from the arena and from the bedding in their stalls.
