Love is complicated, love is finicky and fickle, but above all, love is basic to our existence. Love produces more healing energy than conceivable. There are many aspects of love….more than just passionate or romantic love.
To love someone or something means to hold dear, delight in, have a fondness, attachment, or tenderness for, as well as compassion, care and concern.
Think about how many times a day we say the word love…….I love chocolate. I love the feel of sun on my face, I love books. We show our love throughout the day, often wordlessly…..when we wipe the tears from a child’s eye’s, or listen to a friend in need, when we pat the head of a pet, or bake for friends and family. Simple examples for a complex emotion.

Love and compassion are limitless. How many things in this world can you give away again, and again, and always have enough remaining to give it away over and over again? charisse andrews
But, if love and compassion does not include yourself, then it is incomplete.
So grab some chocolate, maybe a cup of hot tea or coffee, or wine, and celebrate love for all it’s wild and incredible variety.
