High Point Furniture Market: More finds…….

High Point Furniture Market: More finds…….

It takes a very long time to go through the hundreds and hundreds of photos I took at Market, crop, adjust, etc., but the hardest part is deciding which ones to post.  I have enjoyed sharing this series with my readers, and I hope you have found an item or two that spoke to you. Most all are available through your local furniture stores, designer is you use one, and the web sites I provided can tell you if there is one near you. I have tried to include varying price points as well. Starting today with the showroom of Van Thiel & Co. Asian and European antiques, many one of a kind.

Nice vignette, but that is a clock behind it all, over 5 ft tall, with an amazing patina.

More white. I stand by my prediction of blue and white……

This cabinet contained some really unusual pieces.

I missed out on these antique wine bottles. I wanted two so I could make lamps. Below is a close-up.

Sold, Sold, Sold, darn,darn,darn.

I told you white was everywhere, and because they have a showroom in China, I guess….?????? And see the small red dots on the tags? SOLD!

This beautiful hand carved piece was taller than I was, and exquisite. What a statement piece it would make. It was already SOLD.

Lux-Art Silks was so lovely. I was amazed at how realistic their botanicals looked. Even close up, real close up.

Dovetail Furniture is based in Los Angeles, California, and source an eclectic collection of furniture, accessories, and textiles from around the world.

Well, I still have some odds and ends to share, as well as a company that I am quite impressed with, and hope to be able to source with for a clients project. So I will probably post some of these odds and ends tomorrow before moving on to projects and the GARDENS!!! Yeah! Today I stopped by the new Home Goods store that just opened. I left my purse in the car intentionally. Well, bad idea. Got it out, but promised myself that I would not go beyond the one department I was in. I just love Home Goods. When I visited my cousins in Florida and CT, EC and I made the rounds and I always came home with pieces for myself and clients. I am a bad girl!

I again thank you for stopping by . Laters, charisse
