A true Irish martini contains 3 ounces of vodka, 1/2 ounce vermouth and 1/2 ounce Irish whiskey, shaken or stirred as you prefer.
However, some people just don’t feel like they’re celebrating this holiday unless their beverage is green. In this case, shake 3 ounces of gin and 1/2 ounce of Green Chartreuse together with ice, and strain the contents into a martini glass.
If that doesn’t appeal to you, you can have a green apple martini instead.
